Series 2 For Sale

One of our long term members is unfortunately having to sell his Morris for personal reasons. Bob Salter has owned his Series 2 saloon for many years and you may have seen it at local shows. He is keen for it to go to someone in our club who will look after it and give it a good home so he is letting club members know first before advertising it more widely. Bob is the second owner from new and has a large history file from the first owner.

This is a local car originating from the Isle Of Sheppey. It is beige with a red leather interior. It’s in first class condition, and with a little work could be concourse.

MOT valid until March 2022

The car is located in Herne Bay

1952 modified Morris Minor

“This car belonged to my late father and as you can see the engine has been changed, as has the exhaust, it now sounds more like a Harley than a Morris. The door seals also look to be changed and as you notice the front seats are not original…  The other point to note is the fuel system is now fed from a jerry can in in boot, this was MOT’d like this successfully before legislation changed, I think he also changed the brake system but getting it right is beyond my skill set!!
In my opinion it needs someone who knows cars to understand what has been done and what needs doing, and hopefully get some fun from it!”
